The Women in Aerospace Nigeria, @nigcomsat Chapter, with the Odyssey Educational Foundation and American Spaces Nigeria, celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on Feb 21, 2023.
The MD, Engr. Tukur M. Lawal, was represented by the GM, IT, Haj. Rekiya Suleiman.
The Nodal Coordinator, Engr. Florence Ibrahim, spoke about activities of the WIAN @nigcomsat Chapter since its inception.
The theme of the event was “Innovate, Demonstrate, Elevate, Advance, Sustain (IDEAS): Bringing communities forward for sustainable and equitable development.”
Government Day Secondary School, Kubwa, emerged the winner of the science quiz competition. Prizes were given to all the contestants.
